Canletes All-Canadian Games

The Canletes All-Canadian Games (CACG) is a female basketball showcase created in partnership with the Canadian Youth Basketball League (CYBL) and powered by Under Armour Canada

This CACG is a build on of our “Canletes Best in Prep” and “H.S All Star Games”, annual celebrations of female basketball players across Canada. This event will feature top current and prospective women’s basketball players. 

Across Borders Games – Canada vs USA

The Across Borders Games is the ONLY girls basketball showcase that pairs the best female athletes in Canada and the USA to play against one another on Canadian soil. The inaugural game was held in 2018 and has occurred every year since in Canada and the USA.

The Across Borders Games is renowned as the ONE OF THE biggest girls basketball showcase in North America, likened to the prestigious McDonald’s All American and Jordan Brand Games.

Canletes All-Star Series Nomination

Criteria & Selection Process

The voting committee for our All-Star Series is a crucial component of the selection process. This committee comprises coaches, media, and scouts, responsible for choosing the athletes who will participate in the All-Star Series. Player selection is based on performance throughout the season and overall contribution to the team. The voting committee plays a significant role in ensuring that the best players are selected for our All-Star Games.

Athletic Achievement

  • Consideration of a player’s accomplishments on the court.
  • Evaluations and nominations are determined by each player’s fundamental skill level and athleticism.
  • Recognition of players’ accolades.

Academic Achievement

  • Nominees must meet academic eligibility requirements to participate with their school team, as per school and league guidelines.
  • Nominees should not hold professional status as a basketball player or receive payment or inducements for game/event participation.
  • Nominees must have resided in Canada for one calendar year, attended a Canadian-based school/prep, or hold Canadian citizenship if playing abroad.
